SoT has been around for more than 6 years... bro... It's like saying that Last Epoch was around for less than a year. Technically true (release date), but the game was up and running for years before that. The point I agree with: Choose a period a day (hour or two) for increased pvp allegiance (and it has to be different times so every time zone can participate and there need to be an easy way to check the time (like commodition for merchants)) to stack the pvp traffic for better matchmaking. Guild vs Guild PVP would be fun too. About guild hideout: not hard to create at all. Glorious Sea Dog assets and are still in game. Framework is there.

i met the shroud once the only problem was it was my first time i set out to sea outside the tutorial i joined the game of corse the other person joined looked at me with no cosmetics or anything left instantly i chose a mission starting with gold horders and started to go i played a little bit and then my first ever random encounter a big meg which to someone who never even done basic ship combat and barely fought off a few skeletons on islands i ran away

Safer seas is better for tall tales and achievement hunting the PvE aspects of the game.

Telling people to cook their fish is perhaps the worst advice anyone ever gives when talking about hunters call grinding. Raw fish count for the achievements, cooking is just a huge waste of time. The best rep farm is mermaid gems anyways so completely disregard cooking for fish.

When i started playing i played as a solo galleon, i did really well, nobody fought me because i was a big ship, had they fought me though i would have been Mega Screwed

There is a way to spawn megs, if you go to the red sea island and then come out, there is a guaranteed random emergence

- see cool update - want to play - remembers why i quit - hitting a shot is completely random and i could lose hours of progress just because the hitreg and network sucks. I won't take the game seriously nor return to consistently playing until those issues become rare. I don't expect perfection. But good god the game feels near unplayable with how unsmooth it is nowadays.

Ngl I dropped the game all last year when they were doing all that Monkey Island stuff. Never cared less about a crossover in my life.

Played the game hard for a short while then got bored. Fun game though if not repetitive. Repetition is fine if I have lots of choices to choose from.

The sunken shrines update is forever my favorite.

I often just stick to sniper and knife because knife is just fun and really good with PvE and sniper makes up for its lack of range but during most pvp combat I either switch to sniper and blunder or blunder and knife( I really like the knife), but while I tend to have a ridged load out I have learned that switching it depending on the circumstances is really important. So great advice with the loadouts.(except pistol, it’s just a worse sniper with faster reload)
